Reviews of Benahavis Apartment

Here are a selection of the reviews I have received of my Benahavis Village Apartment below.

Stayed at this apartment beginning of June for a week and loved every minute. It was clean, brilliantly well equipped, extremely comfortable, quiet and well located. As I walked through the door it felt like home. Would recommend to anybody. Already booked to go again next year!!

My partner and I have just returned from a fabulous week in Spain. We wanted to stay somewhere quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Marbella and Puerto Banus, yet not be too far from the sea.  The idyllic mountain vilage of Benahavis certainly hit the spot! The partment is in a very tranquil location on the edge of town. A lovely experience to go out on the balcony first thing in the morning and enjoy the beautiful view to the accompaniment of bird song.  The apartment itself is very pleasant, well equipped, and spotlessly clean. Great to have Wi-Fi that doesn’t continually keep losing the signal.  It was a real plus to have the use of the pool downstairs. Although it’s not Olympic size it was mostly deserted the various times that we went to have a cool down.  If you’re fit then the village centre is only five minutes away via the “quick” route, although this does involve climbing a short but steep hill. We opted for the slightly longer, but more gentle (and with pretty views) stroll into the centre to have dinner each evening. And what a choice we had. There are thirty something restaurants in Benahavis ranging from working men’s tapas (delicious) right up to high end fine dining. We’ll definitely be going back to continue working our way through the various eating establishments.

A “top tip” – If you get the chance have a crack at the river walk. You can do this as part of a tour but we opted to go on our own. Just amazing, particularly on a hot day.
Make sure you wear some shoes that you don’t mind getting wet though. The river bed is very rocky!
