There are two options from Malaga airport to get to the apartment Toll (50 Mins, approx 12 Euros) or non-toll (1 hr). The Toll Road normally saves about 10 mins but during busy times (e.g peak summer or rush hour) this can save you even more time. The non toll route can occasionally have delays due to accidents too.
Directions from Malaga (approx 75Km)
From Malaga – Toll Motorway (Peage) – Take the Peage toll road (AP7) (about 8 Euros for 1st section and 2 euros for 2nd part) as soon as you can but you will initially follow the normal free motorway A7/N340 ensuring you follow the signs for Cadiz / Alegeciras at all times. Take the Peage option in the direction where is says “NOT PEAGE” in the normal motorway directions below. You will go past various exits for the towns of Benalmadena, Fuengirola, Marbella, Puerta Banus and come off the motorway at junction 172 for Rhonda & San Pedro De Alcantara after approx 65Km from the airport. After coming off the motorway you will go about 150 M then get to a roundabout where you must do a “U turn” and come back under the motorway following up the hill until you approach a roundabout where you will turn left signposted “Benahavis”. Follow this road along eventually coming down a steep hill with a roundabout at the bottom then go straight over and up a steep hill and go straight over this roundabout too. Then follow this bendy road for about 2-3 Km and then at the next roundabout go straight on again (second exit) past Capanes Golf on your left. You will then come down another very steep hill and go over a bridge and then arrive at a cross roads where you turn right for Benahavis onto the A7175. After 4 Km you will approach a roundabout with “Benahavis” written in green which also has a waterfall in the middle. Turn right at this roundabout and follow along the road for approx 1Km going over three speed bumps and then the road starts going up a steep hill and bears left and you will then go past a road to the right (Av. La Moraleda) and the apartment is then directly on the right hand side 20-30m after the junction to the right (along with the main gate entrance that runs into the back of the apartments) on the corner of Calle La Corollina and Av. La Moraleda.
Free parking is available on the left hand side of the road a little bit after you pass the apartment block’s bottom entrance gate on your right hand side on Calle La Corollina which is a cobbled street.
Locating the apartment – If you enter the apartment block from this street you will immediately go up a few steps and my apartment (2A) is at the top of the second set of stairs.
In the very unlikely event that this gate is locked on La Corollina cobbled road go down the hill very slightly to corner of the road and turn left up the hill into Av. La Moraleda and half way up the block there is a turning into the apartments next to the post boxes. Follow the path for 10M then turn left and take the second from last stairs to find my apartment (2A).

From Malaga – Normal Motorway (Toll Free) – After coming out of the airport car hire multi storey car park you will go straight on and come to a small roundabout where you go straight ahead. After this follow the road for around 300M and then take the right split signposted Cadiz (NOT MALAGA). Follow along the motorway for around 2-3 Km and then come off the motorway signposted for Algeciras (right). You will then come onto a fast motorway (120 KM speed limit) which you follow along past Benalmadena (past cable car that goes above motorway). Around 2-3 KM after the Benalmedena exit the motorway spilts and you take the right split (NOT PEAGE). You then come onto the slower motorway (mainly 80 Km speed limit) and go past Fuengirola, Calahonda and Marbella junctions (approx 25-30 mins). You will eventually come back onto a fast motorway again (120 Km) just after “La Canada” shopping centre and you follow along here for around 6Km until the road splits again and you take the right split A7 (NOT PEAGE) through a tunnel about 300-400 M long so keep a close eye out. You will go past another exit for Marbella then Puerta Banus and finally through the San Pedro tunnel (1Km long, about 69KM from Malaga) at San Pedro De Alcantara. After you exit the San Pedro tunnel take the second exit after this (approx 1-1.5Km) signposted for “Benahavis” and at the first roundabout (Repsol Petrol Station) go straight over and follow the road for 2Km (there are KM markers all along this road) and you will come to a roundabout which has “Benahavis” written in green with waterfall. Follow straight on at this roundabout and then follow the road for approx 4.5 Km up through the mountain road until you come into the village where you will come to a second roundabout with “Benahavis” written in green which also has a waterfall in the middle. Turn right at this roundabout and follow along the road for approx 1Km going over three speed bumps and then the road starts going up a steep hill and bears left and you will then go past a road to the right (Av. Follow the A-381 to Algeciras for around 90-100Km then bear onto the E-15 towards Malaga then onto the N340 motorway passing Estepona.
